Willi describes himself as a folksinger, writer and theatre artist, and it shines through in his ability to captivate the audience (whether it’s a room or a couple folks around a bar table) with not just music, but electrifying facial expressions and body movement more common on a theatre stage.
It’s said that Willi can shoot the shit with the best of them. He delivers though, and plays us this raucous song full of great “hillbilly portmanteaus”, as Willi described it.
