This week, The Red Clay Strays unveiled their first live album, Live At The Ryman, via RCA Records.

Live At The Ryman features a selection of songs from throughout the band’s catalog, including the crowd favorite “Ramblin’,” which they recently showcased on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Showcasing their dynamic sound and engaging stage presence, the album is a testament to the group’s dedication to their craft and their growing popularity.

This release adds to an already remarkable year for The Red Clay Strays. The band has earned a nomination for Vocal Group of the Year at the upcoming 58th Annual CMA Awards, marking their first nomination at this prestigious event. Additionally, they were awarded the Emerging Act of the Year at the 2024 Americana Music Association Honors & Awards, and earlier this summer, they released their critically acclaimed new album, Made by These Moments.

Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb, known for his work with artists like Chris Stapleton and Jason Isbell, Made by These Moments showcases the band’s signature sound, blending electric rock and roll with southern soul. The album has received widespread acclaim, helping to bring the band into the national spotlight.

In addition to their album releases, The Red Clay Strays have been featured on prominent platforms such as CBS Saturday Morning’s “Saturday Sessions,” The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, NPR’s Weekend Edition Sunday, and podcasts including Bert Kreischer’s “The BertCast” and “This Past Weekend with Theo Von.”

Hailing from Mobile, Alabama, The Red Clay Strays are rapidly rising in the music scene, poised for a breakout year. Their single, “Wondering Why,” has exceeded 75 million streams, reached #1 on Spotify’s Viral Chart, and held the top spot on the Americana Singles chart for six weeks. The song is also charting on the Billboard Hot 100 and other key charts.

Featured on their album Moment of Truth, currently #2 on the Americana Albums Chart, the song showcases the band’s eclectic rock-n-roll sound. Billboard commends lead singer Coleman’s powerful vocals and the group’s musicianship.

The band, known for their electrifying live shows, will continue touring this fall, highlighted by a sold-out three-night debut at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. Members include Brandon Coleman (lead vocals, guitar), Drew Nix (electric guitar, vocals, harmonica), Zach Rishel (electric guitar), Andrew Bishop (bass), and John Hall (drums).

Since forming in 2016, they’ve honed their craft on the road, made their Grand Ole Opry debut, and shared stages with artists like Dierks Bentley and Eric Church. Recently, they recorded a new album with Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb, set for release later this year.
