Flatland Cavalry will be hitting the road for a series of performances across the country

Acclaimed Texas country band Flatland Cavalry has released their highly anticipated new album, “Flatland Forever,” marking a significant milestone in their decade-long journey in the music industry.

The album is a tribute to their past and a stepping stone into the next chapter of their careers.

Released under Interscope Records, “Flatland Forever” is a compilation of the band’s most cherished songs from the last ten years, alongside new tracks and alternate versions.

Lead singer Cleto Cordero expressed the band’s excitement by saying, “This project hopes to provide a snapshot of where and what we’ve been up to in the last decade, and we hope you enjoy listening. May the music always be easy on the ears, heavy on the heart. Forever.”

The album features fan favorites from their previous works, including “Come May,” “Humble Folks,” “Homeland Insecurity,” “Welcome To Countryland,” “Songs To Keep You Warm,” and “Wandering Star,” along with four new songs that encapsulate their growth and changing sound.

Preceding the album’s launch, Flatland Cavalry unveiled two tracks, “Three Car Garage” and “Lubbock,” which have already garnered acclaim.

Critics from All Country News hailed the group as “the heart and soul of today’s country music,” emphasizing their unique blend of honest storytelling and captivating melodies. Similarly, Country Central praised their ongoing evolution, noting that “even 10 years into their career, they continue to impress.”

From their first show in Lubbock, TX in 2014, Flatland Cavalry has gained significant recognition, with Rolling Stone referring to them as “at the Fore of the Red Dirt Renaissance.” The band has attracted admiration from fans and critics alike, with The Wall Street Journal calling them “a straightforward, upbeat electrified country-rock band.” American Songwriter highlighted their dynamic representation of country music, crediting the influence of legends like Kris Kristofferson and John Prine on their storytelling.

In the past year alone, Flatland Cavalry has achieved remarkable milestones, including writing for the soundtracks of two major films, receiving their first ACM Awards nomination for Group of the Year, and making their headline debut at celebrated venues like Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium and Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

The band has also surpassed 500 million streams across various platforms, had their music featured on popular shows such as Paramount’s “Yellowstone” and Netflix’s “The Ranch,” and celebrated six #1 singles on Texas Country Radio. Their relentless touring schedule has included sold-out shows and gigs alongside icons such as Willie Nelson, Luke Combs, and Lainey Wilson.

To celebrate the release of “Flatland Forever,” Flatland Cavalry will be hitting the road for a series of performances across the country, including their first headline arena show at Fort Worth’s Dickies Arena and other stops at Lubbock’s Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences and Philadelphia’s The Fillmore.
