Canadian Country Folk Singer-Songwriter Richard Inman has released his new single, “Gone,” a heartfelt and introspective track that showcases his rich baritone voice and delicate musical touch.

“Gone” is a song about loss and longing, with Inman’s lyrics capturing the raw emotions of a relationship coming to an end. The song’s narrative follows the protagonist as they grapple with the pain of their lover’s departure, struggling to find the words to express their feelings.

Musically, “Gone” is a blend of folk and country influences, with Inman’s acoustic guitar providing a foundation for the song’s gentle melody. The track also features contributions from Tyler Allen Bass on guitar, Megan Brown on fiddle, and Pete Cormier on drums, adding depth and texture to the arrangement.

Inman, who hails from South Eastern Manitoba and central Alberta, has established himself as a staple of Winnipeg’s folk and country scene. Known for his mature songwriting and authentic storytelling, Inman has released two full-length albums to date and has toured extensively throughout Canada and Europe.

With his new single, “Gone,” Inman continues to cement his place as a Canadian songwriting giant. The song is a testament to his ability to craft deeply personal and emotionally resonant music that connects with audiences on a profound level.
